Megan is an internationally renowned survival and adventure consultant. Megan has helped facilitate a wide range of adventurous television shows adding to around 400 episodes including Emmy nominated and winning content all over the world for major networks. Along with a small team she played a key part in the evolution of how adventure shows are currently filmed as part of Bear Grylls core safety team for 13 years. Here she led the safety and rigging teams, designing onscreen journeys and stunt rigs including helicopter rigging as camera and stunt platforms and boat safety. Megan has scouted locations and managed the logistics and dynamic in-field adventure safety of multi million dollar film shoots for the past 20 years as well as setting up and leading expeditions to some of the most remote and wild places on earth under her belt. She has spent time working and living with native communities, from the San bushmen in Africa to the Sami reindeer herders in the Arctic to the Iban jungle dwellers in Borneo and many more. As well as consulting for TV survival and adventure shows, Megan has a psychology degree and is the best selling author of the book ‘Mind of a Survivor” which looks at the human ability and instinct for survival and how this can be applied to domestic everyday life.
